Alice Cahn

(USA) Cartoon Network's VP for Social Responsibility
Alice Cahn is Cartoon Network's VP for Social Responsibility. From 2003-2007, Cahn was VP Development and Acquisitions for Daytime Programming at CN. Prior to joining Cartoon Network, Cahn served as Managing Director of the Markle Foundation's Interactive Media for Children Program. Cahn came to Markle from Sesame Workshop where she served as President of the Television, Film and Video Division. From 1993-1998 Cahn was head of children's programming for the US Public Broadcasting Service (PBS).
Vincenzo Cerami
(ITALY) Writer and screenplayer
Vincenzo Cerami was born in Rome. His first novel, Un borghese piccolo piccolo, came out in 1976. Among his literary works: Amorosa presenza, followed from the narrative poem Addio Lenin; Tutti cattivi, Ragazzo di vetro, La lepre, Fantasmi, L'incontro, Vite bugiarde; the book Fattacci, tale of four famous Italian murders; the comics Olimpo S.p.a., Olimpo S.p.a.-Caccia grossa with Silvia Ziche and Les yeux de Pandora with Milo Manara. With the composer Nicola Piovani, he wrote Le cantate del Fiore e del Buffo, the musical tale Il signor Novecento, Canti di scena, Romanzo musicale and La pietà. As a screenwriter he worked for Marco Bellocchio, Gianni Amelio and Roberto Benigni.
Luis Alberto González Nieto
(CUBA) Vice President of Instituto Cubano del Arte and Industria Cinematográficos – ICAIC
He has directed the network of the Centro Nacional de Superación para la Cultura of the Ministerio de Cultura de Cuba. Since 2002 he's the Vice-President of the ICAIC, where he follows the production of fiction and documentaries, the political management of the International cinema events in Cuba, introduction of the digital technology in the Cuban Cinema industry. He directs different projects of international cooperation in Cuba, in movie production, computerization of the industry, the restoration and the digitalization of the Cuban cinematographic Heritage.
Jens Opatz
(GERMANY) Executive Creative Producer KI.KA
Jens Opatz is a graduate of the prestigious Animation Institute at Filmakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg, in Ludwigsburg (Germany), where he also teaches animation writing and animation series development since 2002. He worked as an animator, producer and director for several animated commercials and children's programmes, including shows for German broadcaster ZDF, ARD and US public channel PBS. He is co-founder of clayart animation studios, now a brand of Scopas Media, cocreator of international renowned preschool series Dragon, which is broadcast in more then 40 territories, and worked for several years as head writer at Constantin Entertainment. Since 2006, he is executive creative producer of all animation programmes at Germany's top children's broadcaster KI.KA.

Andrea Piersanti, journalist, author, TV and radio presenter, is the Artistic Director of the "Fiuggi Family Festival", President of the Short Film and Documentary Jury of the David di Donatello Prize, teacher of "Theory and Techniques of the Audiovisual" at the University "La Sapienza" in Rome. He has written books on the evolution of the mass communication languages and technologies. He's in the Directing Committee of "Media 2000". He has been the President of the Istituto Luce, delegate adviser of the Cinecittà Studios, Main Director of "La rivista del Cinematografo", President of the Ente dello Spettacolo, President of the Associazione dei critici radio e tv Italiani (Italian radio and tv critics Association).
