DIANA MANSON

Diana Manson has worked in artists’ management, theatre, music, radio and television production and music publishing in Australia, UK and the US for nearly 30 years.
She established ABC Records for the Australian broadcaster, where she signed The Wiggles, and won 22 Australian Grammy equivalents, including one for her original 10-album children’s music series “0-9”. She has consulted for Disney, Warner Brothers and Sony Music in the US and worked for BMG International, London, as Director of Creative Development for their children’s television slate. She has worked on soundtracks for television series and film and music remains a central enthusiasm. Diana founded Silver Lining Productions in New York with Amory Millard in 1998, dedicated to creating children’s entertainment developed from ‘contemporary classic’ literary properties. Silver Lining eventually represented  Rosemary Wells, Babette Cole, Ian Falconer, Eric Carle, Debi Gliori and Anne Gutman and Georg Hallensleben. In 2002, Diana was Executive Producer of “Beatrix Potter’s Nursery Rhymes” recorded in Abbey Road Studios and Executive Producer of “Timothy Goes to School” (PBS), “Max & Ruby” (Nick Jnr) and Co Producer “Dr. Dog” (TF1 and ZDF). Silver Lining was acquired by Chorion in 2005 and since then, as Chorion’s EVP, Creative and Development, Diana’s vision has molded properties as diverse as the new “Mr. Men” series, Ian Falconer’s “Olivia” and the new series of “Noddy in Toyland” for the company.
