Cartoons on the Bay 2010 from April 15th to 18th

The 14th edition of Cartoons on the Bay

Terre di Portofino

From Recco to Moneglia, the coast draws two big inlets, Paradiso Gulf and Tigullio Gulf, limited on the west side limited by the majestic Portofino Promontory and on the east side by Punta Manara. It’s a unique and extraordinary setting, in a typical Mediterranean style, characterized by tiny towns and seafaring villages, where the colours of the sea and lush vegetation reflect themselves in the architecture of the typical painted houses, and the brightness and freshness of air are tangible.
The greatness of Portofino Promontory, over 600 metres high, presents itself as real extension of the Appennino projected to the sea, strongly characterizing the panorama.
The high and jagged coast, interrupted by beaches and small harbours, offers extraordinarily beautiful scenarios that have contributed to make this coast reknown worldwide.
The numerous seaside towns still keep the typical look, strongly connected to the sea and fishing, and a long tradition of hospitality.
